The Vatican City is a landlocked sovereign city-state that is found within the city of Rome. It is the smallest internationally recognized independent state in the world by both area and population.

With incredible architecture and beautiful gardens, the Vatican City is a one and only. The tour takes you inside to explore the many rooms of architecture, statues and outstanding art work that is found all over the walls and even the ceilings!

You will be told about covering your knees and shoulders before entering the Vatican City, but as i found out 3 hours later, after hazily swaying from the heat and dehydration, it is only at the end of the tour, inside St Peter’s Basilica that you have to cover up! So please read up on the rules of places you are visiting and if in doubt, just ask!
