Dubai, a popular city in the UAE. A city that was born in the middle of a desert, holds the worlds tallest building and also has a 7* hotel. Dubai couldn’t be more rich and upcoming! The many shopping malls are filled with so many designers, some you may not have even heard of before!
But don’t worry, Dubai is easily in budget for any traveller. In-fact, I found Dubai to be cheaper than i expected. In UAE you don’t pay taxes, and so everything is lovely and cheap! - YAY!
So make the most of your time here, there is loads to do. You can explore the impressive shopping malls, watch the evening fountain show and even relax on the perfect beaches. And for the adventure seekers there's dune bashing in the desert, to swimming with dolphins!
The Aquaventure Water Park is based at Atlantis the Palm Dubai resort at the top of the Palm Jameirah. This is a man-made island in the shape of a palm tree. Palm Jamierah holds many hotels and is a key tourist area. The Aquaventure Water Park is the tourist section of Atlantis the Palm, seperate to those staying at this hotel. So many visit for a day trip to experience the Aquaventure Water Park, Dolphin Bay, The Lost Chambers Aquarium, Marine Animal Adventures and Scuba Diving.
There are many rides at the Aquaventure Water Park. From the big scary ones, to one that even takes you through a shark tank! Here you have access to a private beach also. So if you need a break from the rides, a peaceful beach is there to let you catch up on some sleep whilst enjoying the sun.
Dolphin Bay is part of the Atlantis the Palm resort. Here you can swim and interact with many dolphins, creating a fun and exciting experience. This is a once in a lifetime experience - one that i have been wanting to do since i was a child!
The are many desert safari experiences which give you an amazing authentic experience in the middle of the desert!
After 30 minutes of making our way through the desert with adrenaline pumping dune bashing, we arrive at our desert camp for the evening. Here guests enjoy a range of authentic experiences - such as henna tattoo artistry, shisha, camel riding, authentic Emriati cuisine and a traditional Emirati performance. All of this is surrounded by nothing but the desert with no civilization in sight. Luxury!
Every evening you can enjoy a fountain show outside the Dubai Mall. This is an amazing show giving the crowds a wow factor experience. With music complimenting the dancing fountains, it is something that shouldn't be missed.
After the show you can explore Dubai Mall and get lost in the many floors of designer shops and restuarants!
Dubai Creek is a salt-water water way that winds its way through the heart of Dubai. Old fashion boats can take you on a trip down the creek, or you can catch a water taxi to get you across it. If a boat isn't your thing, you can enjoy a walk along the promenade watching the boats and impressive buildings in the distance.
